Cancelled flights due to COVID-19? Rebook, Refund or use travel fund as your options!
Due to the viral outbreak of novel coronavirus (Covid-19), Philippines expand travel restrictions and completely sweeping measures to stop the spread of the coronavirus.
Cebu Pacific has announced that they are allowing passengers scheduled to fly from April 15 to June 30 to re-book their flight or transfer the cost to a travel fund.
For flights between April 15 and June 30, full refund is not available. For re-booking, fare difference still applies although the change fee is waived.
For passengers who are supposed to fly between March 15 and April 14, you can re-book for FREE. Cebu Pacific has waived the change fees and fare difference for affected passengers. You can only re-book once, and the new date has to be before June 30.
For passengers who are scheduled to fly between April 15 and June 30, only the change fee is waived. The fare difference still applies.
Here’s how to re-book.
You can put the full cost of your ticket in a virtual wallet. This fund is valid for 180 days and can be used as payment for future bookings as far as 12 months out. The amount to be converted to Travel Fund excludes travel tax (plus its service fee) and/or insurance add-on, and other service fees, if any.
Travel Tax (plus its service fee) will be added to your Travel Fund within 15 days after completing your booking conversion to Travel Fund. How to Get a Refund
This option is offered only to passengers whose flight schedule is between March 15 and April 14 due to Airline cancellation. If payment was made through debit or credit card, please allow at least 3-4 billing cycles for refund to be credited into the account.
