Chocolate kiss bids farewell after 23 years

Everyone is saddened about the closing of the well-known restaurant in UP located on the 2nd floor of Bahay ng Alumni because of their best-sellers Devil’s Food Cake and Dayap Chiffon Cake top. The restaurant will no longer be re-opening even after the community quarantine. It will be permanently closed effective August 24, 2020.

Chocolate Kiss started as a home-based cake business before they decided to open a restaurant in 1997 on the second floor of Ang Bahay ng Alumni in UP Diliman. They do not only serve good food but also live music by their favorite musicians.

In 2016, They opened a branch in the shopping complex of U.P. Town Center at its student hub, Urban Turf, where it’s in the fitting company of other home-grown UP- and Quezon City-based shops and restaurants.

The chocolate kiss may be closing their doors in UP Diliman, but cake lovers can still order from their Fairview Commissary located at Block 1, Lot 13, Republic Avenue, Dona Petrona Subdivision, Quezon City, near Robinson’s Townsville, Regalado Avenue.

Do not forget to order their home-baked delights made with real eggs and butter, high-quality sugar, flour, and cocoa without any preservatives.
